PLANT STORE has been designed specifically for the construction and building industry to address the increasing problem of plant and equipment theft.
Moreover PLANT STORE gives unrivalled protection against malicious intent, vandalism or arson. The unique and patented design (UK Patent Application No: 0601545.7) provides for larger items of plant such as 360 degree excavators up to and including 15-tonne tele-handlers and rough terrain fork lift trucks, large dumpers and small dump trucks, wheeled excavators and a smaller range of plant equipment, to be stored in this high security, floorless, heavy duty, steel store.
Previously shipping containers have been used to store small non-operated plant such as rollers, mixers, saws etc., eliminating the facility of secure storage for much larger operated plant as described above, purely as a result in the dimensions, floor strength and limited security, enabling the shipping container to be easily lifted and carried away from site complete with it's contents, without a second glance being given.
PLANT STORE has the solution to all of these issues;
Key Features include;
NO FLOOR - this allows tracked machines to enter without damage to a floor, no reduction of headroom, but most importantly with the addition of the horizontal ground level security chains attached, the plant sits on top of the chain which in turn will stop the store from being lifted.
HIGH security doors with internal built-in locking pins in the door pillars, integral locks that are invisible to the exterior and fitted to the store doors.
PERSONNEL door fitted with two, high security, 10 pin telescopic tumbler cylinder. The anti-pick/anti-drill cylinder utilizes a patent protected key mechanism which offers full restriction for key reproduction.
NO external lifting points available to thieves.
SOLAR-POWERED internal lighting and alarm.
ULTRA heavy duty external construction for high security.
All round HIGH level secure ventilation to allow exhaust fumes to escape.
PLANT STORE cannot be carried by conventional trucks. We have specifically 'designed out' the ability of it being lifted or carried by usual means. We have also 'designed in' the inexpensive features and transport system which allows owners/hirers to facilitate this aspect by means of unique detachable lifting points and low-loader patterns for cost effective and simple movements.
